Since the movement behind the Stonewall riot, New York 1969, queers around the world have participated in Pride. Pride started as a protest against police brutality, a riot, yet this is not evident today with police participation in pride. Political parties with anti immigration ideologies have also been able to join due to this. Today movements of queer abolishment and criticism have developed within the queer movement. Through our program we will learn more about this and alternatives!
